Russia says Ukrainian drone attack sparks oil depot fire in Krasnodar

The Ukrainian attack of drones caused a fire at a oil warehouse in the Russian region of Krasnodar, the governor of the area said on Wednesday.

The fire, which was later presented, happened in the village of Novominskaya.

Governor of Krasnodara Veniamin Kondratyev said the debris from the destroyed unmanned aircraft had caused a fire and no injuries.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that he had knocked two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk regions and two more unmanned flights over Belgorod, and both were bordered with Ukraine.

Officials in Kurska reported the damage to the building, but without victims.

The Ukrainian army announced on Wednesday that he had knocked 57 of the 104 drones that launched the Russian forces in night.

The intersections took place over cherkasy, cherneiv, harkiv, khmelnytskyi, kirovohrad, Kiyiv, Poltava, Sumy and Zhytomyr.

Governor of Hartie Oleh Syniehubov said the attacks had damaged several buildings and injured one person.

Officials also reported the damage to buildings in Harkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad and Sumy.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency warned on Tuesday that Russian attacks on the electricity network of Ukraine or substation can disrupt supply and pose a risk of nuclear accident.

Rafael Grossi visited the electric substation in Kiev on Tuesday, saying on X that the structure “is an important part of the Ukrainian electricity network key for nuclear safety.”

Grossa said “the situation is quite difficult. … We should not hide the fact that you see … This infrastructure is degraded.”

He also said he was “impressed” by the work that is now done “to ensure nuclear safety.”
