Philippine Senate can’t hear impeachment until June

The Philippine Senate may appeal to the Vice -President against Vice -President Sara Duterte on June 2, when Congress continued after a medium -sized election, said Senate President Francis Escudero on Thursday.

Escudero said that the senators who would act as jurors should swear oaths while the congress sat down before they could be assembled as a court for imperialation.

“It can’t be done legally,” Escudero said.
