Over 250 British MPs join call to end executions in Iran

The British Committee for Freedom on Iran (BCFIF) announced that more than 250 members of the British Parliament, including former cabinet ministers, condemned “the Iranian regime’s systematic use of the death penalty to target dissidents and detained protesters”.

In their statement, the inter-party signatories point out that these executions are politically motivated, with the aim of suppressing dissent and deterring future rebellions through fear and terror.
