Mexico deploys the first of 10,000 troops to US border after Trump’s tariff threat

The Mexican National Guard line and military trucks were hoarse along the border that separated Ciudad Juárez and El Paso in Texas on Wednesday, among the first of 10,000 soldiers that Mexico sent to its northern border after the threat of Tariff of President Donald Trump.

It was expected that at least 1,650 soldiers would be sent to Ciudad Juárez, according to the Government’s data, which makes it one of the largest receivers of border reinforcements in the country, the other only Tijuana, where 1,949 was sent.

During US Secretary of State Marc Rubio, through Latin America – where migration was at the top of the agenda – a top American diplomat thanked the Mexican government for the forces, the Mexican government statement said.

The negotiations of Sheinbaum viewed the observers as a bit of a terrifying political maneuvering by the newly elected Mexican leader. Many have previously been suspected that she could go to Trump’s Presidency as effectively as her predecessor and ally, former President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
